California. Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
On this date in the Golden State, Ms. Debra Lynn Koven (CA-149983), of Manhattan Beach was suspended by the State Bar of California for one year. Her “crime” it appears was zealously representing a client when she requested that two appellate justices (Gawds– California is a PC State) recuse themselves on the ground of bias.
What? Gawds biased? Never!
The Gawds found her guilty of two counts of criminal contempt and fined her $2,000.
Ms. Koven demonstrated remorse to the Gawds and since she’d been a good disciple for 17 years they took pity on her, stayed her suspension and sentenced her to l year of probation.
Seems it’s okie dokie in California for a prosecutor (Miles Ehrlich) to take a crime victim’s information and sell him out to the perpetrators of the crime see: Miles Ehrlich, Ramsey-Ehrlich But for a lawyer to suggest a judge is biased well that’s plain wrong. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
Does anyone know who the Gawds were? Evil wants to know so we can add them to the list and assign them an “Eviltiy” rating.
