Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
On this date in the Garden State, the New Jersey Attorney Discipline Review Board (the DRB) censured Shannon L. Garrahan, Esquirette [#101806] as a result of respondent’s guilty plea to a four-count Information in the Preble County Court of Common Pleas, Ohio, charging her with two counts of attempt, pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code 2923.02(a), as it relates to aggravated possession of drugs, fourth degree felonies, two counts of possession of drugs, third degree misdemeanors, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth degree misdemeanor.
More specifically, the drugs involved included 104 40 mg. Oxycontin tablets, 144 Percocets, 89 Diazapam (Valium) tablets, an unspecified quantity of Fioricet (a barbiturate), marijuana (4 grams) and hashish (1 gram).
Censured? Was she practicing law or pharmacy? Was Miss Garrahan required to give up the identities and locations of her drug suppliers as a requirement of her censuring?
