On this date in the Gar­den State, the New Jer­sey Attor­ney Dis­ci­pline Review Board (the DRB) sus­pended Thomas D. Allen, Jr., Esquire [#102008] indef­i­nitely for know­ingly dis­obey­ing an order of the Supreme Court con­di­tion­ally admit­ting Thomas to prac­tice (sub­ject to absti­nence from intox­i­cants and not prac­tic­ing as a sole prac­ti­tioner, except under a super­vis­ing attor­ney and cer­ti­fy­ing quar­terly com­pli­ance with these con­di­tions), and engag­ing in the prac­tice of law while inel­i­gi­ble for fail­ure to pay the annual attor­ney reg­is­tra­tion statement.

Thomas also made mis­rep­re­sen­ta­tions to the Court in cer­ti­fi­ca­tions that he did file.

Nitza I. Blasini, Esquirette rep­re­sented the New Jer­sey Office of Attor­ney Ethics (the OAE) before the DRB.

Thomas failed to appear. Per­haps he had a sched­ul­ing con­flict? Happy Hour?
