Roger A. Levy, Esquire | SUSPENDED

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

On this date in the Gar­den State, the New Jer­sey Attor­ney Dis­ci­pline Review Board (the DRB) sus­pended Roger A. Levy, Esquire [#102053] for three years on May 13, 2008 as a result of his receiv­ing a three year sus­pen­sion in the State of New York, due to his reck­less con­duct in con­nec­tion with the han­dling of escrow funds.

Richard J. Engel­hardt, Esquire appeared before the DRB for the New Jer­sey Office of Attor­ney Ethics (the OAE).

Roger failed to appear. Per­haps he was too busy reck­lessly han­dling escrow funds?

Roger is a repeat offender of the New Jer­sey Rules of Pro­fes­sional Con­duct. He was sus­pended for three months in 2000. Hereto­fore his aggre­gate uneth­i­cal con­duct has not risen to a level deemed mer­i­tous of dis­bar­rment by New Jer­sey bar overseers.

Were any of Roger’s clients injured as a con­se­quence of his mis­con­duct in this or the under­ly­ing mat­ter? Was resti­tu­tion ordered? Paid?
