Same thing happened to me. Alejandro L. Sixto never informed me of my cases for traffic criminal offenses. Now I have been warrent. Does anyone know how to connect him?

David, We suggest you contact the Florida Bar Association immediately. They probably have a “client security fund.” Inform them of your predicament and request their assistance, at a minimum to retain you counsel. You might also contact Brian Tannembaum, a Miami lawyer. http://www.tannebaumweiss.com/ He deals with the Florida Barffoons regularly. If he can’t assist you he can probably refer you to a top notch Esquire who can.

I looked up Sixto when I began to get the feeling something had gone horribly wrong with the hiring of this firm and after I was pulled over for driving on a suspended license due to his negligence. Turns out he went to court to represent me and claims he paid a $30 late fee that I paid in advance to his firm but somehow the Dade Clerk’s office has no record of it. To make matters worse his office “lost” the receipt as well. This resulted in suspension of my license, a second ticket for unknowingly driving on a suspended license, collection agency fees since the ticket went to a collections agency after the late fee was not paid, a drivers license reinstatement fee and best of all two weeks of pleasurable conversations with the automated human robots at the clerks office. The icing to this situation was that he decided to release me without my consent and refunded the money we paid him plus a random extra amount. I was deceived in so many ways by this guy that I can’t list them here. PLEASE be careful when hiring a traffic attorney and trust your gut. If something just doesn’t feel right when you call their office or they don’t get back to you trust yourself and look for someone new.

He’s a traffic lawyer, and now he’s doing loan modification?

  5. sue ellen

A friend of mine hired him as her attorney for her loan modification, unfortunately, she regrets it. Every time she request to speak to him his assistants insist he’s in court. They have given her the run around and so far no loan modification, never have seen or heard him, and she’s a couple of thousand dollars short. She suspects all the “assistants” are mortgage brokers; and Mr. Sixto is the “phantom lawyer”.

Update…Mr Sixto is working for a loan modification company in North Miami Beach..The name of the company is mainstreet financial.. they are located at the corner of 163rd and 19th avenue, 16300 ne 19th ave, zero’s missing from the placard…glass building on the nw corner…suite 250. I recently interviewed with this company and disclosed that I had several years of experience in the mortgage business. It didn’t help that my resume included being a former law enforcement of 20 years and an active criminal law school student. I was politely told that I was over qualified for the position. I had the chance to study the office and the employees. It honestly looks to be a scam set from the start. The interviewing manager was a reformed street hood in a suit, complete with tattoos, gold front teeth and a bling, bling watch.…The contact numbers for them are 786–797-0211..good luck

There is a Alejandro Sixto (without the MI “L”) operating at 6625 Miami Lakes Drive… I consulted him for a Home loan modification but at the florida bar website list Alejandro L Sixto under Young Lawyer Division. Does any one know if he is the same lawyer?
    Thank You.

sounds like the same man. PLEASE be careful and research this attorney well. Pretty sure its the one and the same. Consider going to someone else with a better reputation. Peace

I own a print shop and have done mailers for Mr. Sixto and have recommended at least 6 clients for traffic and everyone has been pleased with his service.

I’ve been a client of Alejandro Sixto for a while. Hes done traffic tickets for me and had good results. I recently retained him again for a Loan Modification and so far so good. My file is under review with the bank and i haven’t had any complaints about his firm so far. Everytime I call i always speak to his assistants because hes never in the office. I did request for him to call me personally and he did about 2 days later. i’ve worked with several attorneys in the past and more or less they are all the same. The assistants do most or all of the work and handle the clients themselves. I decided to stay with Alejandro Sixto because i have had good results and when I have spoken to him in the past hes actually very intellectual and has a broad knowledge with all the different fields he practices. once my mod. is complete I plan to use him for my bankruptcy if all goes well. which i hope it will…

We are currently involved in a home loan modification. I would NEVER do it again with this company. We are 9 months into this and NO results! We are filing a complaint with the Florida Bar Association!!!!

  12. Anthony Parker

It looks like we just got our modification approved with Mr. Sixto and Main Street. It took over 7 months and my wife and I our saving $480 per month and the 9 months we were behind were erased. It looks like this team is better at modifications than I thought. I started to lose hope.

  13. Anabelle

WAKE UP Jennifer! Banks are NOT doing modifications but scam artists are charging fees up front (illegal to do so and the State of Florida has shut down a dozen already), writing a letter to your lender knowing full well there will be no modification. You are getting ripped off — this guy is a smooth and charismatic scumbag.

  14. Alice Grender

We got our Modification approved after 5 months . Seems like everybody here has a different opinion on Mr. Sixto. We are very happy , Thank You.

  15. Mr f

I would just like to say if you are in the process of a loan modification with Sixto and associates or Main street Financial Please do yourself a favor and fire him.
He never returns calls, never responded to letters etc. They misrepresent themselves by saying they have negotiators working for you and work with all banks not true the people in his office lie .
I am going to file a formal complaint with the Florida bar association

  16. Jennifer L

Sixto took my application for loan modification back on Auguest 2009. He charged me $2100 in two payments. Untill today I have not heard any thing from bank. infact when I contacted bank they said ” no one ever contacted them about modifying my loan. I strongly belive most of these positive comments are comming from him or his fukin Moran girlfriend Lina. they steal peopl money and go to long vacations. they moved from their last location and no one knows where they are… No one answer the calls and all their numbers are disconnected

  17. Larry M

The phone number for that main office is 305.558.0460 . The number is not disconnected. This is a real Attorney and all these comments here are from those who have dealt with marketing offices for Alejandro Sixto. If people would just take time and research the actual contact number for the ATTORNEY handeling the case and not the solictors that signed them up then these problems would not be an issue. Additionally for all of you who have eneterd into a loan modification your chances are slim to none that any positive outcome will occur because the banks want to take your home! Not help you live in it for less! If you were involved in a pre-payment loan modification with this attorney or any other attorney , I hope you have a money back guarentee. If not your up the creek without a paddle. However , Any BAR CERTIFIED ATTORNEY will issue a refund in a heartbeat to avoid any issues with the bar. So if you payed an ATTORNEY for your modification then contact the ATTORNEY and work out your problem dierctly with them , NOT your sales soliciter . However, If you hired a COMPANY and a NON-Attorney to do your modification ANY PREPAYED THEM then your not EVER going to get anywhere because all of those companies have been shut down or changed names and enetred into Debt Settelment scam compaines.

There is no excuse for a lack of due dilligence , They say a fool and their money is soon parted. If you took the time to find this site you could have taken the time to investigate the company or attorney you gave your hard earned money to represent you in saving your most valuable asset . YOUR HOME!

This is simply a big scam. Be aware!!!!
These people ( John Fausto,Lina Cano ‚Alex Cano,Denise and Charlotte ) will rob you blind. They go by a lot of different company names to include: MainStreet Financial, Equity Group,411 Payments and they use an attorney to do their dirty work (Sixto & Associates). They will not stay in a single location for too long so if they just took your money hurry up because they might be already on the move.

I got scammed by this gang too. I’m not too sure what to do — is there any way to get my money back? I haven’t actually paid — its charged on a credit card. I did a dispute and they took it off my bill, but then put it back on when these scammers contacted them. They were supposed to do a mortgage modification back in June of 09. They made 4 or 5 calls to the bank — the bank told them to check back in a few weeks! I had already accomplished that much. This “company” stopped answering their phones, everything went to voice mail and they’re message queue was too full to receive any more messages. They are absolute crooks! I sent them a formal letter firing them and demanding a refund — suprise, suprise — no response to my letter.

  20. Scammed in Jax

Does anyone have a working number for them?

  21. Harold

These people on this thread need to contact the supervising attorney on their case. Mainstreet and your attorney are different sources of contact. Mainstreet does not do your modification YOUR ATTORNEY DOES. Most of these posts say ppl do not answer the phone , marketing offices seldom do. Contact tour attorney directly !!! If you don’t know his or her number goto Florida bar and type in their name. How hard is that? All these worthless comments when it’s the homeowners own fault for not following thru with paperwork and not knowing how to contact a person who’s name is clearly written on the top or within any contract you signed with a marketing company! Wake up people and get serious , sitting here crying and moaning about your own mistakes is a waste of time and energy!
