  1. Alan Dove's ex-coworker

I am a lawyer as well and have worked with Alan Dove in the past. He is a real life scumbag! He is a drunk, vindictive, spiteful evil man little man that uses his position to intimidate and harass people for his own self gratification of his over inflated ego. He is has no ehtics to speak of and is only out to get whatever he can out of his clients with absolutely no regard for the clients well being or his performance representing them.

Remember he is a drunk. He has been caught by his wife driving drunk with their young children in the car. He tried to pawn off his kids to the office staff as babysitters before when he was drunk while he sobered up so his wife would not catch him drunk with the kids.

Speaking of his wife; she is a Doctor, her name is Doctor Kristi Ann Dove a Neurologist and Psychiatrist. They live in a million dollar plus house, drive big Mercedes Benz cars, take ski vacations, kids in an expensive private school, etc, etc and yet Alan Dove still chooses to not pay the small amounts that he owes his victims. What a scumbag!

  2. Justice is served! Disbarred!

Alan P. Dove was officially disbarred. Finally the California Bar Association does something right.

I was his client for a civil case and I fired before he fails my case. He did same things to my case (“(i) intentionally, recklessly or repeatedly failing to perform legal services competently, (ii) failing to communicate with a client, (iii) failing to promptly return the unearned portion of a fee paid in advance.”) He even threatening me charging more fees when if I asked for unearned portion of retainer.
He is not a professional attorney. That’s all I can say.
BTW, If you’re not a native English speaker like me, don’t even think about hiring Alan P. Dove. He is going to eat you alive.

I also asked Alan Dove to pay Crystelle Hong for her translation service (service fee was included in Alan’s retainer). Alan never did.

I don’t know if any of his “victims” have had any luck getting restitution. It should not be that difficult to get a small claims judgement against him, especially now considering his disbarrment. He and his wife own several pieces of real estate some in her name, some in his name and the house in Scripps Ranch in both of their names. He just bought a new expensive truck late last year when the new models came out, so he is not hurting for money like his victims are. I would not give up and would continue to drag him into small claims court until he can’t take it anymore and pays up.

Pay his wife a visit at her office and embarrass her, maybe she will pay you to go away. Remember she is a Doctor. Plenty of money there! Lookback through the previous posts to get her name. Call her office first to make sure the address is correct as she moves her office fairly often, reason unknown, but I have my suspicions. Look for the big Silver Mercedes S500 usually parked in the first space in the handicaaped zone, and she is not handicapped. Another sleezeball Doctor taking advantage of the handicapped parking area that “real” handicapped people need, not lazy Doctors! Sleezeball Lawyer, sleezeball Doctor wife= sleeze ball family. I cringe to think what their kids will be like as adults. God help us.

If you were a victim of Alan P. Dove, then I would strongly recommend that you take him to small claims court on a regular basis if needed until you are repaid what you are due.

He and his Doctor wife own several “investment” pieces of real estate as well as the big expensive home in the affluent neighborhood that they live in that you can attach your judgement to. After you win your judgement have the Sheriff seize one of his cars and have it sold at auction for your judgement. If every victim of his did this, he would be crying for sure!

Fight back against these sleezy Lawyers. Don’t let them steal your money like a common thief!

I am Alan Dove’s daughter. I would like to clear up that I attend public school, do not go on ski trips, my mother has been having her money stolen, my dad has been sober for a year, my house isn’t even 3,000 square feet, my mom is handicapped (she has been in many car accidents and has more issues with her body than most of her clients), my dad’s assistants were hired as babysitters but it was at our house because he had to go to work, the truck was bought by my mom on sale to be used for his contracting job he holds to make money as he goes to AA meetings, and do not post comments about me and my brother if you don’t want us to see them; we are straight A students. You will enjoy knowing that my dad will be seeing this page via e-mail. MY FAMILY IS NOT SLEEZY! You also might want to know that you are reading something written by an 11 year old. Quote from Anonymous: “I cringe to think what their kids will be like as adults.”. You should. We are the next generation and in my head (as messed up as it is [yeah right]), holds the *assumption* that you are just scared that we will make the planet better than you could ever. Look at you; you are writing lies about my daddy forgetting that his kids will see it.

I am sorry, James Lin, a very good man that I have come to know, for your trouble with Alan P. Dove. For all of the work I did for him, I never got paid. I had the court judgment against him since October 13, 2005. According to the court’s calculation, including the interests he owes me, it is over $5,000 by now. When considering disbarment, California State Bar quoted my case about his threat against me when I filed a case against him at the Small Claims Court. (See attorney search at the California State Bar website and type in his name.) He gave me untrue information at the Debtor’s Exam during one of the court hearings. The sheriff could not collect from his bank accounts, which not only with wrong account information but had nothing in them as expected. I could not place wage assignment against his wife’s lucrative income either. Nor was my collection agency successful in placing a lien against his property. As he told me personally, he knew how to hide his assets whether under his wife’s, someone else’ names, or set up business entities to do so.

I feel bad that his children have to read negative information about their father even though much is true. However, I also appreciate the value of this experience. In spite of all the costs, energy, time, and the stress I spent at the time, I sincerely wish Alan P. Dove and his family well. Whatever he had done, at least he is successful in having a loving child who is willing to speak up and defend him. Maybe someday soon, he will have the desire to right the wrong and pay me for what he owes me.…
