Gor­don Wright, Esquire has been nom­i­nated by the State Bar of Cal­i­for­nia for induc­tion into the Evil Esquire Bar Asso­ci­a­tion as an inter­minable mem­ber. Wright was dis­barred August 30, 2008, by the Cal Bar and ordered to com­ply with Rule 9.20 of the Cal­i­for­nia Rules of Court i.e., inform his clients, oppos­ing coun­sel and inter­ested third par­ties of the change in his title from Esquire to Xsquire– or some­thing like that

Robert Spencer Dou­glas, Esquire [#100063], age 64, of Ran­cho Santa Fe, Cal­i­for­nia has been nom­i­nated by the State Bar of Cal­i­for­nia for induc­tion into the Evil Esquire Bar Asso­ci­a­tion as an asso­ciate mem­ber. Dou­glas was was sus­pended for two years, stayed, placed on two years of pro­ba­tion with a 60-day actual sus­pen­sion for his part in an ille­gal scheme to solicit and pay fees to county jail inmates for bail bond referrals.

Quincy N. Hoang [#101158], age 37, of San Jose has been nom­i­nated by the State Bar of Cal­i­for­nia for induc­tion into the Evil Esquire Bar Asso­ci­a­tion as an asso­ciate mem­ber. On Novem­ber 6, 2008, Hoang was sus­pended by the Cal­Bar for two years, which sus­pen­sion was stayed and he was placed on two years of pro­ba­tion with an actual one-year sus­pen­sion and was ordered to take the Multi-state Pro­fes­sional Respon­si­bil­ity Exam­i­na­tion (MPRE) and com­ply with rule 9.20 i.e., inform his clients, oppos­ing coun­sel and inter­ested third par­ties of his suspension.
