New Jersey. Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
On this date, in the Garden State, the Supreme Court of New Jersey suspended Eric H. Bornstein (Respondent) as a result of Respondent’s criminal conduct in assaulting an individual in the State of Massachusetts.
Mr. Bornstein’s license to practice law was suspended on June 21, 2006 for a period of 6 months.
Walton W. Kingsbery III represented the Office of Attorney Ethics before the Discipline Review Board. Respondent failed to appear.
Were any of Mr. Bornstein’s clients injured as a consequence of his actions? Is the individual(s) he assaulted okay? Are those who were injured satisfied with the discipline imposed in this case? Has restitution been made?
Have there been any other instances of misconduct by Mr. Bornstein that haven’t been addressed by Office of Attorney Ethics?
