New Jer­sey.  Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

On this date, in the Gar­den State, the Supreme Court of New Jer­sey dis­barred lawyer Lesly R. H. Dev­ereaux as a result of his crim­i­nal con­vic­tion in the Supe­rior Court of New Jer­sey, Law Divi­sion, Mer­cer County for sec­ond degree offi­cial mis­con­duct [N.J.S.A. 2C:30–2] and third degree mis­ap­pli­ca­tion of entrusted prop­erty [N.J.S.A. 2C:21–15]. Dev­ereaux also pleaded guilty to fourth degree fal­si­fy­ing or tam­per­ing with records [N.J.S.A. 2C:21–4(a)] and third degree theft by decep­tion [N.J.S.A. 2C:20–4].

Richard J. Engel­hardt, Esquire rep­re­sented the Office of Attor­ney Ethics. John S. Fur­long, Esquire rep­re­sented the mon­sieur Devereaux.
