Michael Demiro, Esquire | SUSPENDED

New Jer­sey.  Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

On this date in the Gar­den State, the Supreme Court of New Jer­sey sus­pended Michael A. Demiro, Esquire for for plead­ing guilty in the United States Dis­trict Court for the Dis­trict of New Jer­sey to a one-count Infor­ma­tion charg­ing con­spir­acy to obstruct jus­tice, in vio­la­tion of 18 U.S.C.A. § 371. See (182 N.J. 248) .

Demiro was sus­pended for 18 months effec­tive June 2, 2003.  He was tem­porar­ily sus­pended on June 2, 2003 (176 N.J. 417).

Richard J. Engel­hardt, Esquire appeared before the Dis­ci­pli­nary Review Board for the Office of Attor­ney Ethics and Robert L. Galan­tucci, Esquire appeared for Mr. Demiro.

In addi­tion to the pub­lic, was any­one injured as a con­se­quence of Demiro’s con­spir­acy to obstruct justice?
