New Jersey. Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
On this date, in the Garden State, the Supreme Court of New Jersey suspended lawyer Susan Bell Bolno because she was suspended in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for, in four separate matters, engaging in gross neglect, lack of diligence, failing to communicate with clients, failing to properly deliver funds to a client or third persons, making misrepresentations of the status of cases to her clients and creating documents to perpetuate the misrepresentation.
Ms. Bolno’s license to practice law was suspended on April 06, 2003 for a period of 2 years.
Richard J. Engelhardt appeared before the Discipline Review Board for the Office of Attorney Ethics.
Ms. Bolno failed to appear. Perhaps she was too busy neglecting other matters and making up stuff?
Ms. Bolno is a repeat offender of the Rules of ‘Professional’ Conduct. She was temporarily suspended since April 12, 1999.Heretofore, her aggregate unethical conduct has not yet risen to the level deemed meritorious of disbarment by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Were any of Ms. Bolno’s clients injured as a consequence of her actions? If so, are those who were injured satisfied with the discipline imposed in this case? Has restitution been made?
Have there been any other instances of misconduct by Ms. Bolno that haven’t been addressed by Office of Attorney Ethics?
