California. Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
On this date in the Golden State the illustrious State Bar of California reproved Terry Romero Collins age 37, of Oakland California. That means they criticized him. Gave him a sharp rebuke!
Terry was admitted to the State Bar of California on June 9, 2003. He attended San Jose State University and obtained his law degree from UC Hastings College of Law.
According to the “Bar” Mr. Collins also has “duties” to perform. Beyond that we have no idea what Mr. Collins did to deserve a reproval. The “Bars” not telling so it must be a drinking club secret. But we’d like to know. So if anyone out there in liawyer victim land can inform us we’d appreciate it.
And while we’re at it we’ll make the same usual appeal. Were any of Mr. Collin’s clients injured as a consequence of his reprovable behavior? Was restitution paid? Are you satisfied with the discipline imposed by the State Bar of California in this case?
Have there been other complaints regarding Mr. Collins that the State Bar of California refused to investigate?

This sage continues as Mr. Collins has now been suspended for 2 years as more of clients are coming forward. I am sure there are more to come since Mr. Collins has a history of obtaining retainer fees from his clients but no performing work. Yes, his client have been injured as their cases have been terminated for lack of response or judgements against them based upon Mr. Collins no show or lack of response. Should their be a harsher punishment, of course…who does this…don’t attorneys take an oath of ethics! No restitution has not been paid to all and since it’s public information you can find what Mr. Collins has or should we say“has not” done on the cal bar website.
